strength
Happy Monday to you! I just finished my second cup of coffee!!!!! That’s why I’m using more exclamation marks!
So, I’m patiently waiting to open my newest coffee purchase: Cinnamon Gingerbread flavored java by Millstone. Does that even sound good? I’ll let you know soon!
My friend, Liesa, introduced me this fall to a nice coffee companion- the breakfast biscuit. It’s called BelVita and made by the Nabisco company. I’ve tried the blueberry and apple cinnamon flavors. Very good because they’re lightly sweetened like a graham cracker. Other flavors include cinnamon brown sugar, golden oat and chocolate. You should give them a try!
I really wish I had one of those cooking blogs where I upload a picture of my homemade breakfast granola bars along with the recipe. Instead, I’m suggesting you shop the cookie aisle… oh, well!
Today’s strength for your spirit is a sweet and simple verse, like the breakfast biscuit!
“The Lord is my strength…” (Isaiah 12:2).
To where do you run when the storms of life rage? I want you to know, there isn’t any man, woman or child who will ever say, “I wish I hadn’t sought the Lord during that trial in my life.” It’s simple, really. The Lord will not fail you, because He cannot fail. He may not deliver you in the exact way you expect Him to, but the bottom line is, He sees the whole picture and will bring you to the place where you are most able to bring Him glory if you just trust Him to be your strength.
Savor it!
