when trusting God seems out of reach

A young child inherently trusts his parent. If mom and dad say there’s a tooth fairy, then there’s a tooth fairy!Nevaeh

An adult, however, has to overcome his own reasoning mind to trust the Father in heaven. God says He gives His angels charge over us, but we’re not convinced {and our fears, attitudes and actions prove it}.

Where does the adult get the strength to trust? How do we move past our need to see and analyze?

No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again… Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit… The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit (John 3:3-8, NIV).

Spiritual rebirth means the penalty of death for our sins is removed from us, because Christ died for all, and we are made new in the attitude of our minds. Having experienced the spiritual washing of our sins and received the gift of faith {the ability to believe that with God, nothing is impossible}, we inherit spiritual eyes that can trust far beyond what our natural eyes see.

The Holy Spirit is unlimited in power to transform any person: mentally, physically and spiritually.
