Slave to Fear?

It’s No Fear Friday, and I can’t think of a more appropriate post than the song, “No Longer Slaves” by Jonathan and Melissa Helser. The soul-piercing lyrics grab me and call to something deep within. You can listen to this inclusion on Bethel Music’s newest release, “We Will Not Be Shaken” here.

Knowing truth fortifies my stance in the face of fear. After years of living a limited life, I refuse to allow fear to stop me in my tracks any longer. Fear truly is a slave-master, but by the grace of God, His child is set free.No Fear

“I’m no longer a slave to fear; I am a child of God.”

Join me today in thanking God for the limitless life we are free to live in Christ Jesus the Lord!

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears in not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18 NIV).

Living free,

Renee
