She’s a Mighty One!
You know her, right? “The wife of noble character? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value” (Proverbs 31:10-11).
I want to meet her! Even better- I want to be her! She is a strong woman, a force to be reckoned with. According to the Hebrew language, the expression noble character signifies more than integrity; hayil means this woman is like a weapon of war. Consider the translations: military fortification, might, strength, power; able, valiant, virtuous; army, host, forces.1
This wife knows how to fight for her marriage. No power of darkness is taking out her household! She stands strong in the face of adversity and gives it all she’s got!
Take heart, dear sister feeling the weight of pressure. Your Father in heaven promises not to give you more than you can handle. He must see more fight in you than you realize! And He wants you to employ this truth: you are fighting from victory! The Lord Jesus has already overcome everything in the world, and as a member of His body, you are promised a successful passage to the other side of the temporary struggle.
Don’t give up now, valiant one! Though the sorrow may last for the night, His joy comes in the morning! Will it have been worth the fight? Absolutely!
Don’t waste a moment! Get into your prayer closet right now and make agreements with heaven for a glorious turn-around in your marriage!
